SUMMARY:Annual Torrey Memorial Hike to Long Mountain and Turkey Hill Lake
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, July 12\, 2025\, 10:15 a.m. \nHikers will gather at the parking area off Long Mountain Parkway by 10:15 a.m.From the parking area\, we will follow the Long Path to the Torrey Memorial\, at the summit of Long Mountain. From there\, we’ll backtrack to the Popolopen Gorge trail\, follow a woods road to the Anthony Wayne trail\, and then hike over to Turkey Hill Lake. The return trip from the lake on the Popolopen Gorge Trail goes up a fairly steep hill\, then reconnects with the Long Path\, which we follow back to the parking area. \nHikers should wear good hiking shoes\, bring water\, lunch/snack\, and rain gear.
