DESCRIPTION:Parker Cabin Mountain Circular \nBurn off the Oktoberfest sausages and beer with a moderate-pace\, qualifying hike the morning after. We’ll take the camp trail to the Yellow Triangle trail\, head up to Parker Cabin Mountain\, then continue north on the R-D to the Victory\, which we’ll use to circle back to the Triangle and back to camp. Expect a few climbs and some nice views of Lakes Sebago and Skenonto. Plan to leave camp by 10 a.m. You should bring a water bottle and snacks. SUMMARY:Hike Peekskill Blue Mountain Reservation Circular
DESCRIPTION:From Peekskill train station we’ll walk (or shuttle) to Blue Mountain Reservation and follow local trails to the summit of Spitzenberg Mountain for stunning views of the Hudson River. Returning to the main trail\, we’ll complete a rough circle around the reservation and make our way back to the train station. Expect moderately rugged trails (these are not carriage roads!) and a moderate pace. Hiking boots are recommended\, and you should bring 2 liters of water and your lunch. Qualifying.
