SUMMARY:April 5-6 Wilderness First Aid Hosted Weekend at Nawakwa
DESCRIPTION:The Nawakwa Outdoor Association of New York will be holding a 2-day\, certifying wilderness first aid (WFA) class for keyholders and applicants. The fee for the class is $75\, to be paid directly to the instructor. Expect the Saturday class session to run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Sunday session from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. \nThe weekend will be hosted primarily to accommodate WFA class participants\, but non-participants are welcome to come to camp\, too. Because the main water supply will be off\, meals will be hearty but simple to prepare and easy to clean up. (Sunday lunch will be sandwiches\, fruit\, and cookies.) \nTo register for the WFA class\, email Ingrid at Ingrid-hiking@noany.org by Thursday\, March 27. \nRSVP for the weekend by Thursday\, April 3\, 9PM\, to Alex at afwilkie204@gmail.com or text his cell at 856-630-5607. If you are in need of a ride to camp\, let him know. Also indicate any dietary restrictions / preferences when you RSVP.
