SUMMARY:Special Project: Installation of Boat Dock and New Kayak Launch Saturday
DESCRIPTION:A special project\, starting from 11 am to 2pm\, to repair the boat dock’s flotation and to install a new kayak launch will take place on Saturday\, May 6th Volunteer for a few hours to help us re- install our boat dock\, fix the floats and install our new kayak launch attachment. The dock is heavy and will need 6-8 people to flip it so the floats can be installed and then moved into position in the water. This project should only take an hour or two. A demonstration of how to use the new kayak launch will be given. (Non-qualifying). \nRSVP to Dave at camp@noany.org with questions or intent to join in the project.

SUMMARY:Spring Work Weekend: All Hands On Deck Workday Registration
DESCRIPTION:Welcome back! This is our traditional Spring Work Weekend to get Camp Nawakwa ready for the new camp season. The opening of camp is always an exciting time for us. The Spring Work Weekend is the opportunity to make the campgrounds\, the Waterfront\, the Main Cabin\, and all the sleeping cabins ready for enjoyable use by Keyholders and their guests. Camp Fees are waived for all who take part in the work-day on Saturday\, plus there will be lunch for all workers that day. \n(Those who might be staying overnight still need to register with the overnight host and pay the day fee of Sunday\, and whatever extra food costs there might be. See the Hosting Schedule on page 3 for information on registering for the overnight). DESCRIPTION:JOIN US FOR A FUN-FILLED WORK WEEKEND TO BEAUTIFY OUR CAMP NAWAKWA!!!\n\nCamp Naw​akwa’s Spring Work Weekend is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday\, April 23 and Sunday\, April 24. Please note that if an applicant or keyholder signs up to work\, the expectation is you are participating in the work day for as long as we are working.\n\nThere are spring clean-up tasks\, as well as maintenance projects\, something to do for all. Complementary Saturday lunchis provided by the Board and hosted by Janet Sibarium (Membership Committee member). Please bring your own beverage.\n\nThere is a limit to the number of applicants\, priority given to those who have not yet attended a required service project. Although keyholders are welcome to stay overnight\, at this time this is not a hosted weekend. Applicants are welcome to stay overnight\, as a non-qualifying stay\, as long as a keyholder agrees to be responsible.
