April 16, 2021 Leave a Comment

Saturday, April 24 – Nawakwa Circular

This qualifying hike will leave from our beloved camp at 10:00am Hoping to be back by 3 or so. We will be traversing woods roads, trails and visiting a lake. Approximately 5-7 miles with some steep sections depending on weather and trail conditions. Please bring proper footwear, lunch, snacks and at least 2 quarts of water, raingear and anything else you prefer. Due to Covid restrictions this hike is limited to six hikers and one co-leader.  For applicants that need access to the camp gate someone will be there a little before 9:45am so please arrive by then to allow time to get to camp and be ready to head out. Not sure if we can pick anyone up in Sloatsburg due to covid and lack of car by leader.   Please advise if you are an applicant or key holder member. At this point only applicants and members please (no guests since we are limited to 6). Masks will need to be worn at camp when inside or when we’re gathering and on the trails if we meet other hikers.
Please register by Thursday, April 22 at 9PM by email.
Leader: Glen Nison gnisonbike@juno.com or gnisonbike@gmail.com. Leader will be staying at camp for the weekend.
