NAWAKWA OUTDOOR ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK, INC.

To All  Members:

This notice, by USPS or other means, and sent out on or about September 25, 2022, serves as the Official Notice of the 2022 Election for the Board of Directors of the Nawakwa Outdoor Association of New York, Inc. and is sent to all members. Due to the continuing effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and variants, there will not be any in person voting. Voting will take place by Proxy. Proxies may be submitted by USPS mail, or by e–mailing or via the website.

A Proxy Form is included in this notice (below). Pursuant to the Nawakwa Outdoor Association of New York, Inc. Bylaws, each Member will receive a Proxy Form. Additional information about how to vote via “proxy” is included on the Proxy Form.

Note: In sending back the Proxy Form, you are designating Eve Mancuso, Secretary of the Corporation, as the person who will act as your proxy to cast your vote.  Per the by-laws, a signature is required on the Proxy Form.

All USPS mail in Proxy Forms must be received no later than Friday, October 14, 2022 so they can be picked up from the Post Office, delivered to Camp and available to be counted.

Website and e–mail votes may be submitted until 12 noon on Saturday, October 15, 2022. All proxies received by the deadline, whether sent by USPS, website or email, will be counted.

Tallying will take place at Camp Nawakwa and commence at 1 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022.  After the accuracy and validity of all proxies are certified by the Tallying Committee, the Secretary will vote the proxy votes, and the results of the election will be announced. As per our Bylaws, we will post the election results on our website. The results will also be published in the next Trail Marker.
