Thanksgiving Weekend Detox Hike – Ward Pound Ridge Reservation

7 miles, 1,421 ft of Ascent, More Challenging Terrain and Moderate Pace
This hike skirts the Southern perimeter of the Reservation. We’ll see the Indian Rock Shelter, Raven Rocks (with a great view of the Stone Hill River below), walk above cliffs to Castle Rock, climb the
“Stairs”, stop at Spy Rock for another view, interpret the Bear Rock Petroglyph and then head back.
There are numerous ups and downs on these trails and the terrain can be challenging
along short stretches. Qualifying.
