Trail Maintenance Day June 7

Join us on National Trails Day as we help maintain our Harriman hiking trails. We’ll hike to our work location from camp, work for around two to three hours, not counting our lunch break, and then hike back. https://americanhiking.org/miscellaneous/american-hiking-33rd-annual-national-trails-day/
Meeting place: Camp Nawakwa. Pick-up at nearby train station or bus stop possible.
When: 10:15 a.m.
What to bring: Work clothes, long pants and shirt sleeves, jacket/warm layers for changing weather circumstances, sturdy hiking shoes/boots, gloves, hat, plenty of water and a packed lunch. Bring hedge trimmers/loppers/pocket saws if you have them.
We provide: tools, safety glasses, work gloves, plus some dessert treats for our break times.
