Join us for a Trail Work Day

Contribute a few hours toward maintaining our shared hiking trails. We’ll start with an introduction to trail maintenance for those who haven’t done it before. Then we’ll hike to our work location and work for around three hours not counting our lunch break. Afterward, feel free to join us for a weekend at camp hosted by Alex Wilkie.
Meeting place: Camp Nawakwa (pick-up at train/bus station possible)
When: 10:00 a.m.
What to bring: Work clothes, long pants and long-sleeved shirt, jacket/warm layers for changing weather circumstances, sturdy hiking shoes/boots, gloves, hat, plenty of water and a packed lunch. Bring hedge trimmers/loppers/pocket saws if you have them.
We provide: tools, safety glasses, work gloves, plus some dessert treats for our break-times.
