Saturday, April 24 – Nawakwa Circular
Camp Nawakwa’s Spring Work Day is scheduled for 9:00 am May 1. Please note that if a keyholder signs up for the day, you are expected to participate in the work for as long as we are working. There are spring clean-up tasks as well as maintenance projects, something to do for all.
The weekend will be Hosted by Teri and Don Gabel, providing Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. Please email by Wednesday, April 28 at 10:00 pm.
When registering for the work day and/or weekend, please indicate which meals & if vegetarian or carnivore meal is requested.

Congrats to our own ADKNY’s Noel Schulz! From the announcement in the Spring 2021 issue of the Trail Marker of the NYNJ Trail Conference, Noel was awarded the Paul Liken Award for Going the Extra Mile.
Noel was noted for his work as a trail maintainer in Harriman State Park and as a Swamper.

April 24/25: The breezes will be cool off Lake Sebago, but the sun will be warm! Join Alex Wilkie for a spring weekend. If you’re looking to hike, at least one qualifying hike will be offered on Saturday. Meals will be delicious but simple in compliance with COVID protocols. Applicant attendance is limited to 4, but RSVP to Teri at reservation@adkny.org.
To reserve meals, contact Alex at afwilkie204@gmail.com before 10 pm Thursday, April 22. Let him know if you prefer meat or vegetarian meals. (Please be aware there will be no trail lunches provided for Sunday.)
Please note that applicants can receive credit for the overnight OR the hike.
