Photos from the First Nawakwa Paint and Sip

May 25, 2023

The weather on Saturday, May 20, was wet and chilly, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of those participating in Nawakwa’s first Paint and Sip party hosted by Alex Wilkie and Edie Blum.  In the afternoon, Alex led nine other members and applicants through a class in the living room of the main cabin that showed them step by step how to use acrylic paints to render a mountain landscape. At the end of the afternoon, the participants were able to take home their finished creations.  In the evening, Edie and a skilled kitchen crew prepared a delicious dinner of roasted vegetables, couscous and grilled chicken.
