Notification: Swimming Restriction for 1st Lake Sebago Hydrilla Treatment – 6/8/23

Subject: Notification: 1st Sebago Hydrilla Treatment 6/8/23

Dear Harriman Group Camps,

The first herbicide treatment in Lake Sebago is scheduled for Thursday June 8th to target hydrilla.
  • A 24-hour swimming restriction for the Northern Basin Only will be in place from Thursday June 8th-Friday June 9th, 2023.
  • There is no swimming restriction in the southern basin.
Shoreline signage will be installed prior to treatment which states the swimming restriction window for the northern basin and irrigation restriction for the whole lake. Project brochures will be installed at the Sebago Boat Launch prior to treatment (a PDF of the brochure is attached to this email).
