Nawakwa’s Opening Weekend (A note from the Camp Chair)

April 25, 2023

The start of our organization’s 100th season in Harriman State Park was a fantastic one.
Our opening workday was well attended with between 40 and 50 people volunteering their valuable time to help our Camp get ready for the season.
I always try to mention how special it is that everyone can choose to contribute. Whether you were helping launch our dock, sweeping cabins or cooking and cleaning for the group along with so many other tasks your contribution was valuable and so appreciated! Nawakwa doesn’t function without each of you!! So please accept my sincerest thanks for your efforts and know that your time has already helped make our season a successful one!
I look forward to seeing you all throughout the season!
Warm Regards,
David Hayes
Camp Chair
