Thanks to all who came out to help close camp for the season. As of October 15 Camp Nawakwa is in off-season mode – prior approval is needed to visit camp for non-hosted events. Contact Ray for details or to get approval.
Yajing shared this update on the group work on the White Bar Trail…
It felt very rewarding socially, physically, and emotionally working with fellow camp mates to maintain trails. Hope more members will join the giving-back outdoor activity. Thanks the committee co-chairs Mary James and Andy Frank for organizing it.
Lewis and Eve hosted an absolutely amazing event this past Labor Day weekend at Camp Nawakwa. From Italian to American BBQ to Mexican, the food was only outshined by the wonderful people and great conversations all weekend long. Camp was host to 60 Nawakwans and Applicants! A little rain on Sunday followed by a nice evening at camp.
