Ellen Sackstein and Alex sent in photos from the Paint & Sip Weekend. Janet Sibarium adds:
Thank you Alex for an enjoyable, creative afternoon! I also learned a lot more about mixing acrylic paint!
Mountain Laurels starting to bloom at camp
That means it’s time for a visit to Camp Nawakwa. Check the calendar for the next hosted event.
And if you’re a Keyholder, why not visit midweek for a quiet, relaxing getaway?
Spring Work Day – A few more pics
Have to share a few more pics of our work day volunteers enjoying a very nice spread after a long morning. Thanks to Mike for the photos.
Another successful opening hosted weekend
We’re celebrating 99 years of Camp Nawakwa and just added another great opening weekend to the books. One highlight: our own Kate W served as chef to the crew – each breakfast grilled cheese made to order!
See you at camp soon!
Thank you to all who attended the Spring Cleanup!
A huge round of applause to our Nawakwans and Applicants who visited camp to help with the Spring Cleanup on Opening Day.
We’re a community and without everyone’s hard work, we wouldn’t be able to prepare camp for the new season. Thank you for all your efforts on cleaning the cabins, raking all pathways, getting the kayaks and boat storage ready, moving the swim dock, and everything else that needs to be taken care of for the upcoming season. Thanks to our hosts for a great lunch too!
