    I like the concept (“hiking buddy”), but, until I actually get out to hike, I rate my ability as no more than “easy”. Knee problems, which I am working on, I think are still limiting. I would call it somewhere between a hike and a walk. I’d love to hear your reply to this.

    If something like the Old Croton Aqueduct would be suitable with your knee issues, I’d be happy to go there for a walk/hike. Please email me directly at griggse@gmail.com if that sounds like a possibility.
