Dave spoke to PIPC(the park) on Wednesday and unfortunately, Camp has to continue to remain closed through this approaching weekend(June 1st). The power has not yet been reconnected, and there are still cleanups in progress from the fallen trees.

We still don’t have a final timeline for them to be done, but with any luck and lots of hard work by the Park’s staff we may be ready by the June 8th weekend. It was reiterated they are working as fast as possible and that it is currently not safe for anyone to be at camp because emergency access is still limited and work is underway.

We’ll continue to update everyone as soon as we have new information.

Dave spoke to Tony from the park on Friday. Luckily all the buildings at camp are fine, but unfortunately a large amount of trees came down. Some were even broken in the middle by the wind. Many of these trees are caught up in other standing trees which is both dangerous and much more difficult for the park to handle.

Tony didn’t give a timeline for them to be done, but he said they are working as fast as possible and reiterated that it is currently not safe for anyone to be at camp.

We’ll make sure that we let everyone know as soon as we hear an update.

Camp is Temporarily Closed Until Further Notice

A large storm hit Lake Sebago on the morning of May 23rd. There are numerous trees down and the entrance road is blocked.

Please check back for updates before heading to camp for any reason.

We will post again once camp is safe to access.
